The challenge
What we were asked to resolve
Capture at the workstation had degraded to the point that production was being held. The cause was not visible from the hood and the system had no access provision along the affected run.
Our approach
- Investigation carried out to locate the restriction rather than strip the entire system.
- Access installed at the affected run so the blockage could be reached and cleared safely.
- Deposits removed under containment with controlled waste handling and documentation.
- Airflow and capture verified before the line was released back to production.
Outcome
Extraction performance was restored and the line returned to full output, with an access and cleaning schedule put in place to prevent recurrence.
