What we were asked to resolve
The newly installed ductwork had insufficient access provision, meaning the system could not have been inspected or cleaned properly once the building was occupied.
Our approach
- Full system surveyed against the guidance spacing for inspection and cleaning access.
- Panel positions specified and agreed with the contractor and client team before installation.
- Panels supplied and fitted across the system with each location recorded and referenced.
- System cleaned and verified prior to commissioning and handover.
Outcome
The building was handed over with a fully inspectable, cleanable ventilation system and a documented access panel schedule for the incoming facilities team.
